OUR ORIGIN
The idea for KOM Coffee was sparked on a road trip along I-90 somewhere between Chicago and Toledo. The months to follow the idea continued to percolate and bloom. This adventure into specialty coffee soon lead to cupping sessions and coffee tasting with friends and family. We are excited to share the coffees from this first chapter of the journey and welcome you to join us as we trailblaze ahead.
OUR NAME
KOM (King of the Mountain) is a nod to both the cycling classification given to the rider with most points on designated climbs in grand tours and coffee's prime growing environment at high elevation. Needless to say we are big fans of the polka dot jersey.
